Grow, sustain, Influence. Over the next four years, LIFE-AR needs to achieve three objectives in its catalytic role to deliver the LDC Vision to strengthen country led adaptation and resilience.

In Uganda, the Devolved Climate Finance (DCF) mechanism serves as the country’s delivery mechanism under LIFE-AR. This summary document unpacks how Uganda, through its Devolved Climate Finance (DCF) delivery mechanism, is operationalising both its long term development ambitions as well as the LDC Vision 2050.

A Delivery Mechanism is a mechanism that describes a collection of processes or parts working together with a clearly defined goal or objective.

Since its inception in 2019, LIFE-AR progressive implementation in the six front runner countries have shown innovative and sustainable mechanisms.
