United Nations conferences are the main multilateral body to negotiate agreements and actions on climate change.
The 30th session of the Conference of the Partiesis focused on action with a strong emphasis on five thematic days covering mitigation, adaptation and means of implementation:
- Adaptation and climate readiness and resilience
- Social pillar, including health, education, culture, justice and human rights
- Economic pillar, focusing on energy, industry , trade and transportation
- Planetary and community stewardship
- Agriculture and food systems
LIFE-AR will hold several activities during COP30.
