United Nations conferences are the main multilateral body to negotiate agreements and actions on climate change.
The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties’ theme is “In Solidarity for a Green World” with a strong emphasis on two key pillars: “enhance ambition” to ensure all parties commit to ambitious national plans and “enable action” with a focus on climate finance.
