This session will explore how climate finance can better reach vulnerable communities by aligning public and private efforts with local priorities. Drawing on work in countries, it will highlight innovative approaches and financial instruments for financial service providers, governments and multilateral funds to support locally-led adaptation and resilience.

This interactive discussion will explore how the Finance offer "to strengthen LDC delivery mechanisms to ensure that climate finance is committed with the principle purpose of at least 70% of the funds reaching the communities where climate impacts are most felt" has been implemented so far in LIFE-AR countries.

LIFE-AR will participate in the 19th International Conference on Community-Based Adaptation to Climate Change (CBA19), with a co-hosted session on "Governance and Accountability in Climate Financing" and a space at the Marketplace.
