United Nations conferences are the main multilateral body to negotiate agreements and actions on climate change.

Fully-online for the first time, D&C Days invites participants to join us for dialogue, interaction, difficult conversations and solution-focused sessions, bringing together climate thought leaders to discuss the real issues that should be addressed at COP30.

The second Africa Climate summit will take place in Ethiopia early September. This is a great opportunity for LIFE-AR to engage with LDCs, partners and share learnings.

Peer-learning day and in person Board meeting

This session will explore how climate finance can better reach vulnerable communities by aligning public and private efforts with local priorities. Drawing on work in countries, it will highlight innovative approaches and financial instruments for financial service providers, governments and multilateral funds to support locally-led adaptation and resilience.

This interactive discussion will explore how the Finance offer "to strengthen LDC delivery mechanisms to ensure that climate finance is committed with the principle purpose of at least 70% of the funds reaching the communities where climate impacts are most felt" has been implemented so far in LIFE-AR countries.
