Catherine is a qualified project and programme manager with a legal background specialising in implementing strategic initiatives at scale. Her latest work involved setting up and acting as interim chief operating officer for IIED Europe, a new European organisation based in the Netherlands. She has also worked on designing and implementing organisational change at IIED and managed the data protection compliance function since 2018. Catherine is currently leading on the transition of the LIFE-AR secretariat, housed by IIED, to a new independent LIFE-AR facility.
